Eldoret Illula Project
The Eldoret Illula Project, launched in 2008, was created to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for children with albinism. The center houses 35-40 children, offering them a secure place where they can grow, learn, and interact with their peers. It features key facilities, including a dormitory for comfortable living, a dining facility to ensure proper nutrition, and educational support to help the children excel academically. By providing access to quality education, the center aims to equip the children with the tools they need for a brighter future. The project also serves as a space for emotional and social development, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Through this initiative, KACSU strives to create an environment where children with albinism can thrive without fear of discrimination or stigma. Ultimately, the Eldoret Illula Project plays a vital role in empowering these children to realize their full potential and lead successful, fulfilling lives.
